Our owner and operator Robert Adamson started in the floor covering industry in 1981. Having a whole sale floor sales background for one of the largest, at the time, floor coverings sales companies in the United States. While working for this company he managed one of the largest branches of that company here in the Bay Area! Then in 1994 deciding to start his own company, Swift Lift Flooring Services.

Swift Lift’s Bay Area History
Swift Lift Flooring Service was started in 1994. When we started we specialized in flooring demolition and floor preparation. This encompassed carpet and VCT tile flooring removal, bead blasting and adhesive scraping, along with asbestos abatement. As the needs of our clients have grown to different floor coverings so too has our company. We grew to Concrete Grinding and Polishing in 2004.
Since our beginning we have demoed millions of square feet of flooring, polished the concrete of thousands of buildings, and satisfied hundreds of customers with a shine unmatched by any in the Bay Area!
